A Swedish-Danish meeting between two nature illustrators

The summer exhibition 2024 at the Johannes Larsen Museum is a meeting between two of the Nordics’ most significant nature artists and communicators, Lars Jonsson (b. 1952) from Sweden and Jens Gregersen (b. 1952) from Denmark.

Just like Bruno Liljefors (1860 – 1939) and Johannes Larsen (1868 – 1961), have the two artist inherited, the fascination of bird life, landscapes and the depiction of birds have become Jonsson and Gregersen´s  focus points and Life tasks.

The two artists of the same age have not previously exhibited as a duo, so in other words it is a never-before-seen exhibition that naturally finds its platform at the Johannes Larsen Museum.
