Come visit the Johannes Larsen Museum during the summer holidays and paint the world in the Funen Painters vivid colours.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Welcome to the Johannes Larsen Museum, where you can experience the unique colours of the Funen Painters during your summer holidays. During the summer holidays from June 27th to August 10th you can, together with one of the museum\u2019s skilled guides, participate in our exciting activity and explore the magic of oil painting.<\/p>\n

Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 11 am and 2 pm you can immerse yourself in art and paint with oil painting. You find our activity tend in the museum\u2019s enchanting garden, where we together will catch the light, the landscape, the atmosphere and the beautiful flowers and animals. We work with colours that remind of those the Funen Painters used, right from the bright yellow to the sparkling ultramarine blue and the deep mysterious caput mortuum. \u00a0<\/p>\n

We won\u2019t just paint, but also dive into the colours of the Funen Painters in order to describe the world and the nature, that surrounded them. You will learn about their techniques and explore how the colours were used to depict their experiences and surroundings.<\/p>\n

July 11 to August 10<\/span> – \u201dColour Play \u2013 The Palette of the Funen Painters\u201d. Oil painting for everybody.<\/p>\n

Free, when entrance is paid.
