Experiences for the Whole Family This Summer Holiday
From Weeks 27–32
Oil Painting for the Whole Family This Summer
Visit the Johannes Larsen Museum during the summer holidays and explore the art of oil painting in a creative workshop for children and adults. The whole family is invited to experiment with colours, brushstrokes and painterly techniques inspired by nature and the museum’s beautiful garden.
In the workshop, you will discover the unique qualities of oil paint – from soft colour transitions and bold areas of colour to fine details and atmospheric motifs. The surrounding landscape and gardens provide inspiration as children and adults create their own artworks.
Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11 am to 2 pm, our instructors will be ready to welcome visitors to the museum’s learning tent. Last admission is at 1 pm.
The workshop is open to everyone, regardless of experience. Participants can explore oil painting on paper or canvas while focusing on observation, colour, form and creating artworks inspired by the world around them.
